Developed to OE specification
Every RK component is designed on the basis of the original equipment specification: dimensions, materials, friction coefficients. No guesswork – a precise fit from the very first series.
Step 02
Manufactured by audited partners
Production takes place at certified plants that also supply original equipment manufacturers – with documented material origin and batch traceability.
Step 03
Tested to ECE R90
Pads and discs pass the ECE R90 tests – braking performance, thermal behaviour, strength. Only then does a part receive the RK logo.
Step 04
From stock in Tulln – or Istanbul
The complete range is held in the 2,500 m² central warehouse in Tulln. Customers in the Middle East and Asia are supplied from our warehouse in Istanbul.
Tests
What is tested before a part reaches the shelf.
Dimensional inspection
Diameter, thickness, bolt pattern, height – every batch is measured against the OE drawing. Tolerances in the hundredths range.
Material analysis
Cast structure, hardness and composition for discs and drums; friction class and shear strength for pads.
Thermal behaviour
Fading tests under continuous braking, thermal shock for discs – braking performance must remain stable from cold to hot.
ECE R90
Type approval to UN/ECE R90: braking performance compared to the original part, strength, wear. Marking on part and box.
Visual inspection & packaging
Surface, coating, labelling, accessories in the box – only then release to the warehouse.
Traceability
Every batch is documented: plant, date, material. If questions arise, we know within minutes where a part comes from.

Internally ventilated. From every angle.
Ventilated RK discs dissipate heat through cooling channels between the friction rings – for constant braking performance even under continuous load. Rotate the model and see for yourself.

Brake pads, brake shoes, brake discs and brake drums fall under the regulation – RK parts carry the approval number on the part and on the packaging.
Yes – dealers and importers receive data sheets, approval numbers and certificates of origin on request from our team in Tulln.
